Anthony Cruz aka A-Butta – Thank You

As a staple in the late 90’s hip hop scene Anthony Cruz aka A-Butta has been referred to as one of the best NYC MCs of his era having appeared along side Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Pharoah Monche and Rah Digga on the classic Lyricist Lounge single Talking To You. Natural Elements originally signed by Bobbito Garcia and later to Tommy Boy has been gaining a strong buzz again via YouTube as fans have been uploading and sharing their favorite unreleased and released Natural E songs.

Thank You is a great representation of how A-Butta has grown as an artist in 2010 incorporating multiple genres of music in his style while staying true to his roots as one of the best underground MCs NY has produced. His new album Vaudeville Spit is in stores now and a new album with Swigga aka L-Swift of Natural Elements fame will be released on Beats & Rhymes/Audio Clutch in early 2011. There is even a rumor that a Natural Elements reunion track will be on there too!!!!
