Dig Of The Day: Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth – Take You There (Remix) (1994)
Honestly, I rarely hear a remix with so much soul. This is one of them. I remember being in a specific state of mind, many changes went down while this album and other dope ones like Heather B‘s super raw debut Takin Mine, Deda‘s slept-on debut The Original Baby Pa, M.O.P.‘s outstanding debut To The Death, Champ MC‘s diverse debut Ghetto Flava and several others I can’t remember now, were a soundtrack to it.
