Dig Of The Day: Shortie No Mass – Like This (1995)

Dope material from one of the most slept-on females in the game – Shortie No Mass. Hailin’ from Philadelphia, she was discovered by De La Soul and heavily featured on their third album, 1993’s Buhloone Mindstate.

She travelled with them around the world and gained experience in the music industry. Violator Records’ Chris Lighty offered her a signing, but the venture never worked out.

Originally recorded in ’95 at the legendary D&D Studios and released in 2002.
