Dig Of The Day: The PreC.I.S.E. MC – All Night Thang (1991)
The PreC.I.S.E MC (real name Marcella Precise) which stands for Beginning Change of Interest in Sister Effectiveness, came with a set of serious skillz on a dope track All Night Thang from her slept on album PreC.I.S.E.-ly Done from ’91. She’s the first Brooklyn emcee who signed to Miami-based label Luke Records.
She debuted on Luke Skyywalker’s label at age 18 with her underrated album PreC.I.S.E.-ly Done and after being gone for a while she returned on all female posse-cut which will be presented in future posts. Her last music effort to date was independent 12’’ release, The Spot b/w Whatever Works, released on Paid Music in 1997 and she recorded a track with Luther Vandross and Guru in 1998.
