Filip Peraić has a portrait project dedicated to James Harden

As a way to “sharpen creativity” and avoid the “enslavement of an expression to one style/concept,” Croatian illustrator Filip Peraić started the “James Harden Illustrated” project. Using various mediums and artistic styles, Peraić illustrates the same profile image of the Houston Rockets shooting guard and shares them via a dedicated website and his other social media pages.

In the “about” section of the site, Peraić explains that he chose the theme for the series of illustrations because of the “belief that this “constraint” will produce more creative approaches and produce out-of-the-box solutions. Some results will be led by more stylistic/aesthetic idea, some more conceptual or metaphorical. There are three rules: white background, create inside of James Harden’s profile form and innovative solution.”
