For the last installment in Gasface’s the widely popular “Think B.I.G.” series, former Loud Music A&R’s Matty C & Schott discuss the early 90′s rap scene. Here, the two speak on being some of the first fans of Jay-Z dating back to “The Originators” record with Jaz-O which they later came across him again with “Reach The Top.”

Matty C & Schott were trying to sign Jay but a deal fell through as the chemistry with Steve Rifkind didn’t fit with Hov. They also go on to talk about the creative process of Mobb Deep’s first album “Juvenile Hell” coming to Loud after their first album was overlooked and close out with speaking on meeting the Wu-Tang in Shaolin.
