Guru hospitalized after cardiac arrest

Hip Hop icon, Keith “Guru” Elam of Gang Starr is currently in a comatose state after going into cardiac arrest over the weekend. This information is as per his sister, Tricia. It’s no surprise that this is a shock to all of his colleagues, friends, fans, etc. If you’ve ever had an opportunity to meet and/or develop a relationship w/ Guru, you know that he’s a stand-up individual. As entertainment and/or music industry professionals, it’s up to us to emit the positive energy necessary to assist in his recovery. He is scheduled to undergo surgery sometime in the A.M. hours. This is a reminder that life is short and any moment could be your last.
