Just Blaze Studio Tour (Part 1)

There is a new version of the Harlem Renaissance. The heart of which is tucked away, in the heart of Harlem, NY. To access it, you have to take an elevator that consistently smells like the Popeye’s Fried Chicken that’s being cooked next door. If you’re lucky enough to have access through the giant glass door, you are now privy to the world that is Stadium Red. It’s hallways are filled with Grammy trophies, and platinum plaques. Each wall muffles the sounds of music being created, mixed, or even mastered. This is the place where hip-hop super producer Just Blaze calls home. His personal studio has taken on the name Rebel Base. This is where he plans on creating some of music’s biggest hits, and helping guide the careers of a few elite up and comers.

We sit down with Just to discuss everything from his memories of Baseline, to how his move to Stadium Red came about. We learn about the other people that make Stadium Red run, and we even take a guided tour of the studio with the man himself. Tech nerds rejoice, he even explains the gear that is in the studios. Welcome to new world order. Welcome to The Rebel’s Base.
