Kendrick Lamar raps a verse that didn’t make it on “To Pimp A Butterfly”

Kendrick Lamar has been on a very busy press run in support of his recent album To Pimp A Butterfly and it seems that in every interview he does, he gifts us all with yet another revelation. Most recently, during an interview with MTV, he revealed the album’s original title and explained the deeper meaning behind some of the songs.

In one of his latest interviews with Los Angeles radio station Power 106, Kendrick began discussing songs that just didn’t make the cut. Around the 9:30 mark, he began to rap a verse from one of the songs that got cut. He explained that the rest of the song included things that he just needed to say for himself, which is why he didn’t want to put it out.
