The Harlem kid with the flashy smile, aka Mason Betha, aka Ma$e, changed the landscape of rap during the “jiggy” era of the ’90s. He had many people in a trance with his laid-back flow, and knack for dancing with Puff Daddy. One of the records that cemented his place in hip hop history came from the soundtrack for the Chris Tucker movie Money Talks, and later ended up on his 1997 album Harlem World.
