Masta Killa Presents: Wu-Tang: The Next Chamber (Cover & Tracklist)

Although he may not have emerged as quickly as his Wu-Tang brethren, Masta Killa has become one of the Clan’s most reliable foot soldiers in the 21st century. In 2004, he released the gritty Wu classic No Said Date, becoming the last Wu-Tang member to release a solo album. Since then, MK has released another acclaimed album (2006’s Made In Brookyn), and has appeared on numerous albums from the Wu family and beyond.

Now that he’s established himself as one of the Wu’s top swordsmen, Masta Killa is ready to crack open the vaults and unveil the next chapter in the Wu legacy. Featuring rarities like “Black Mamba” and exclusive, never-commercially-available tracks like “Metal Lungies (OG Version)” and “Brain”, Wu-Tang’s Masta Killa Presents: The Next Chamber is an essential collection for fans of the Clan and the east-coast hip-hop aesthetic they helped create. “It’s a lot of hidden gems that I didn’t know if the world was ready for,” explains Killa. “Every artistic creation for us is another chamber, so this is the next set of creations.”

The digital-only album, set to be released November 16th through Royal Lion Entertainment, features Masta Killa on every track, plus appearances from RZA, GZA, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Raekwon, U-God, Killah Priest, Timbo King, R.A. The Rugged Man, Pete Rock, and more. In addition, fans who purchase The Next Chamber on iTunes will get five exlcusive video tracks showcasing live performances and interviews from the Wu.

While fans await Masta Killa’s third studio album Loyalty Is Royalty, The Next Chamber will hold them over. “The fans have been waiting so long for the main course, so I wanted to give them an appetizer,” says MK. “This is the h’ordeuvres, something to whet your appetite.”
