If the title of Booth newcomer Mike Slice‘s forthcoming EP has plunged you, too, into existential angst, I’ve got the perfect remedy: get Faded and listen to the rising rap star’s latest single produced by West Coast veteran Warren G., the artist’s G Funk label boss, handles production duties, and it shows; centered around a swirling synth loop, the beat practically drips with Cali sunshine. Slice’s verses, which find him contemplating his future with a certain chick, are no less refreshing. The ‘90s Baby EP is tentatively slated to drop in January.
