Michael Rapaport along with Davey D, Tajai & A-Plus of Souls Of Mischief, at SF’s weekly event P.S.T w/ Fran Boogie & DJ Sake One as they celebrate the release of the highly anticipated A Tribe Called Quest documentary, Beats Rhymes & Life.
Not to long ago I got a chance to talk with my folks from the iconic hip-hop group Public Enemy during their show at Yoshis in SF. Initially it was me Chuck D and Flavor Flav. later I got to speak with Hip Hop legend and producer Davy DMX of Orange Crush and Run DMC fame. We also talked about Flava Flav’s recent exploits and current entrepreneurial endeavors in culinary, beverages and literature.

C-Rayz Walz keeps it raw and plain classic with a “Blvck & White” real to real video portraying pure rhyming skills, a representation of NYC Hip Hop that would make Big Daddy Kane proud of his reassembled version of the legendary jam “Young Gifted & Black.”
Shot by @Teach from the UK, Live @ The Black Scale flagship store. Edited by Geoff Dalecez, “Blvck Gifted” produced by Marley Marl is the first video off the album “All Blvck Everything: The Prelude”.
A Tribe Called Quest is one of my favorite groups of all time… In any genre of music. After seeing Michael Rapaport’s amazing documentary on the group, I felt inspired to put together a mix and this is the end result. This is NOT a greatest hits mix. This mix is for the true Tribe fans only… The die-hards who know every lyric and remember every interlude. I thought it would be cool to basically create the “lost” Tribe album… With all the rare songs, demos, limited-edition remixes, and collaborations you may have missed over the years. I hope when you enjoy this as much as I do, and hear some things you have never heard before. Special thank you to UNDRCRWN for the amazing artwork. Long live A Tribe Called Quest! No tracklist. Your just gonna have to download it.
