Pete Rock on DJ Premier album & producing drums on “Runaway”

Sumit of The Hip Hop Chronicle UK was backstage in London last night to catch up with the legendary Pete Rock.
Pete Rock reveals two artists that will appear on the album with DJ Premier. Rapper Big Pooh and CL Smooth are together on one track.
He tells me that he produced the drums of Kanye West’s “Runaway” track (the drums are from Mecca & The Soul Brother).
He recounts the first time he met the DJ Premier and explains the 5 albums he is releasing in 2011 including one with Camp Lo and another with CL Smooth.
