Public Enemy & N.W.A Nominated For ‘Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’

Here are the 2013 nominees for the Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame: Rush, Deep Purple, N.W.A., Public Enemy, Albert King, The Marvelettes, Procol Harum, Chic, Heart, the late Donna Summer, Kraftwerk, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Randy Newman, Paul Butterfield Blues Band and The Meters.

In order to be eligible for a Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame nomination, artists must have released their work at least 25 years prior to appearing on the ballot. This year’s nominees released their first single in 1987, or prior.

Inductees will be announced in early December, while the 28th Annual Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will not be held until April 18th in Los Angeles.
