R.I.P. Major Harris of The Delfonics
R&B singer Major Harris passed away Friday at his home in Richmond, VA from congestive heart and lung failure. He was 65. As a solo artist, Major Harris is well known for his hit Love Won’t Let Me Wait.
The Delfonics were frequently sampled in Hip Hop including artists such as Ghostface Killah and The Fugees. His last performance was in 2011 when he reunited with the group.
