Don’t really have the words to put together to pay proper respect to Sean Price. I guess that’s why I became a DJ. I’d rather let the music speak for itself. But thank you for being one of the shining stars from our scene and more importantly being a good friend. I’ll miss our Marvel Comics discussions and your sister’s chocolate cake. Until next time…love you bro.

The day after Sean passed Hip Hop Nation hit up me, Premier and Torae to see what we might have been planning to pay our respects on air. So we decided to all get together and do one great tribute show on Sunday on “Rap Is Outta Control”. HHN gave us the green light to go an extra hour so here’s the playlist from our 3 hour show. For those that missed it, 2 of the 3 hour show will be replayed on Friday morning (Thurs night) from 4am-6am (EST) on Hip Hop Nation (channel 44).

Unfortunately we cannot post up the audio of the show since Sirius is a subscription based company, but I already know there are some people/blogs that recorded the show so just keep your eyes open and I’m sure it will pop up. And special thanks to all those affiliated with Ruck that called in on Sunday as well. Our hearts are with you, Duck Down, Bernadette and the kids.
