I caught up with Statik Selektah in London yesterday. We spoke on his new album. I asked him about the “Thrill Is Gone” track with Styles P & Talib Kweli. Statik reveals that Kanye almost took the joint for 808 & Heartbreak’s.
Statik also reveals what he learns from Preemo.
He and Saigon almost started “All In A Day’s Work 2″ in Oslo last week. They have picked the beats. Interestingly Statik says that Sai’s debut album should be released in a few months. Sai is still signed with Atlantic Records but he the paperwork for his freedom is nearly done.
