Tek of Smif N Wessun’s “24KT Smoke” in stores now

Tek of Smif N Wessun’s latest Mix CD project, 24KT SMOKE, is available in stores today.
Just a year after the release of his Underground Prince Mix CD, Tek has returned in full force, allying with a bevy of battle-tested MC’s and producers to put out a record sure to live up to its gold-plated name.
This project comes in anticipation of Pete Rock & Smif N Wessun’s newest studio album, Monumental, scheduled to hit stores in late Fall.

Smif N Wessun fans can hear the duo rhyme on Tek’s 24KT Smoke album on the track,”Death Is Forever,” which also features Havoc of Mobb Deep. The song addresses what each artist feels are the key issues in coping with man’s inevitable mortality.

Aside from General Steele and Havoc, the project features Wu-Tang Clan member Inspectah Deck on “That Barrel Go Bang.” Beyond Deck, fans can also catch a special appearance from Sheek Louch of The LOX fame, as well as Freeway.

The mix CD features production from the likes of !LLMIND, who is currently working on a new project with Duck Down artist Skyzoo, as well as Statik Selektah, Drawzilla, Coptic and Tek himself.
