The third edition of New Skool Rules is a wrap. We’re proud to say that more than 975 people attended the New Skool Rules conference, and more than 2451 people came to the festival/afterparty part during the April 5th-7th 2013 run. The expectations for the 3rd edition were high, but New Skool Rules definitely not only delivered but exceeded expectations according to Female DJ Take Over CEO Melody Kane. This third edition offered more festival locations, delegates from more than 27 different countries and will be (partly) broadcasted on television in over 160 countries by Trace Urban.

The New Skool Rules schedule was packed with interesting workshops, masterclasses and panels. The delegates found the panels educational and got an opportunity to network at the conference, the festival and the afterparty with some of the biggest Movers & Shakers in the ‘Urban’ Music Industry , like Senior VP of A&R for Atlantic Record, Kawan ‘ KP’ Prather, Grammy Award Nominated producer and manager of Trey Songz Troy Taylor , B.E.T. Music Director Kelly G. and BBC One extra Host Charlie Sloth. New Skool Rules is a bi-Annual event and the C.E.O. of New Skool Rules is considering going to other territories with the event.

Henca Maduro says: “ I would love to go outside of the Netherlands with this strong concept and I’m looking for partners to do this with. The brand has had three editions mature and now we’re ready to take on the world’. One of the highlights of New Skool Rules were the performances by the Exchange winners especially the one that they performed the anthem, produced by grammy award winning producer Needlz.
