The Trinity Project – Sunshine (prod. by J Dilla)

DJ Jab, owner and founder of Fat Beats Records, has a major new project in the pipeline. Going by the name of The Trinity Project, Jab has assembled a heavy artillery of wordsmiths –Roxanne Shante, Grand Puba, Slug, Immortal Technique, Roc Marciano and Ill Bill, just to name a few –to record an album. “Sunshine” is the first beam of light we get to witness from the project, and it features Sadat X, A.G., and the vocalist Janelle Collins. As if that wasn’t enough to spark a true head’s interest, the instrumental is an unreleased Jay Dee gem purchased exclusively from the J Dilla Foundation.
