Video: Big Pun MTV Interview From 1998

Last week marked the 15 year anniversary for Big Pun’s classic debut solo LP, Capital Punishment. To celebrate the historic milestone for the deceased emcee, MTV unearthed an old interview they did with the Punisher back in August of 1998 for their “News 1515″ program. This interview took place right after the album had moved one million units, making Pun the first Latino solo rapper to go platinum. In this interview, Pun displayed the charisma that would go on to make him the legendary icon that he has become for so many. Rest in Peace Big Pun.
