Video: Dig Of The Day: Deja Gruv ft. Rakim – You’re Not Around (1996)
Something many of us haven’t heard. A single featuring the man himself, You’re Not Around is off promo/unreleased, very hard to find and only album by Deja Gruv, titled Luv Jonz. Deja Gruv consisted of a duo, two friends, Chuck Giscombe (Vocals) and Ike Lee III (Producer), ‘discovered’ by Faith Evans, who wrote and sung on some of the songs on Luv Jonz.
Official promo CD’s were pressed but only for promotion in Japan. You’re Not Around was released a year before the album was shelved – probably in ’97.
