Video: Dig Of The Day: Tupac Freestyle and Bootlegger Parley In The Streets Of New York (1991)

Today we have a historic video of 2Pac, chillin’ with his crew, with a 40 in his hand, walkin’ through NYC freestylin’ for ’91, around the time when he was workin’ on his household debut 2pacalypse Now album, and after spittin’ off top of his head he stumbles upon a bootlegger and goes wild over seein’ a copy of Digital Underground tape.

I read a comment somewhere that says – “This video not only shows us a glimpse into the mind of a rapper who had yet to reach stardom, but also acts as a bizarre juxtaposition to today’s music generation, where artists eagerly give away free music with hopes of recognition.”
