Video: Questlove Interviews De La Soul at The Tonight Show

Looks like De La Soul had more than just a dope ass performance to bless us with the other night. The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon released some bonus backstage footage from the night which featured none other than Questlove interviewing the Long Island trio with questions provided by the fans. Questlove hosts the segment and uses his insider knowledge to elaborate on some of the more surface level fan questions. The Q&A broaches topics like where did the group name come from?, who they most enjoy working with, how long it took to make their debut album, their thoughts on modern day rappers not knowing the history of hip-hop, and more. The segment is closed out with a great question inquiring about a De La x The Roots collaboration (to which Questo gives a hilarious response).
