Most people have visions of superhero grandeur. Hip-Hop artists from Curren$y to Raekwon have described theirs. Rapsody’s superhero alter-ego would be known simply as “Queen Rap’.” Just as her albums The Idea Of Beautiful and Beauty And The Beast have done with sharp lyricism, the North Carolina MC would use her powers for good—helping others visualize the color “black” differently, see the ever-present good in others, and promoting “the force” of good energy.
